Our mission
Audiovisual language has become one of the most effective tools for bringing economic and social ideas to the general public. Aware of its educational and cultural potential, the Foundation supports the production of documentaries that contribute to a rigorous, balanced, and well-founded debate on the principles that sustain a society of free and responsible individuals.
The documentaries we support address, from different perspectives, key issues of the contemporary social and economic order: justice, state intervention, individual responsibility, and the real consequences of certain public policies. These works invite reflection, challenge conventional thinking, and help recover the value of critical thought, always grounded in intellectual rigor and factual analysis.

A documentary that analyzes the climate debate from a scientific and economic perspective, focusing on uncertainty, incentives, and the impact of global intervention proposals on the foundations of an open society: information, prices, innovation, and economic freedom.
This project was born out of a growing concern: what lies behind the official discourse on climate change? And why does any doubt about it seem to be considered unacceptable?
For months, we gathered testimonies, readings, data, and experiences. We traveled, filmed, and debated. But we also listened—and listened carefully. The result is not just a documentary; it is an effort to offer a comprehensive perspective that combines what the natural sciences tell us with what the social sciences warn us about. Because it is not enough to look at the climate; we must also look at the political, economic, and human consequences of the decisions made in its name.
We believe this approach is both original and necessary. There is no other work that brings together these two dimensions with such clarity: the geological and the economic, the energy-related and the ethical, what is seen and what is not seen. In contrast to documentaries that repeat the same message over and over again, this is an invitation to think for oneself.

In this documentary, Jesús Huerta de Soto opens the series with an uncomfortable question: to what extent does the public pension system deliver on what it promises? Through a clear, educational overview of the pay-as-you-go model—how it emerged, how it is financed, and the incentives it creates—the film lays out the tensions that run through it (demographics, employment, debt, and political dependence) and confronts the narrative of “social justice” with its real effects on workers, retirees, and future generations. Through interviews and an accessible tone, the film offers a critical diagnosis and puts the debate on possible alternatives and reforms on the table, inviting viewers to reexamine one of the most sensitive pillars of the welfare state.
